“When we arrived to the area, we walked the local
villages and studied the way the housed were built,
the way the rain hit the incline of the roofs, the
materials the would prove to be the most resistant and
available locally.” It was in this unique manner that
Gilles St. Gilles began to create the Central American
native architectural style of construction he has
worked with throughout his project in the Azueros
Community.
The master planned community includes beach front
villas and terraced residences in tropical garden
enclaves, apartments in a village setting and Villa
Camilla, an elegant boutique hotel.
Azuero Peninsula is about halfway along Panama’s
southern Pacific Coast and is known for its
traditional festivals and magnificent deep-sea
fishing. Panama is known for being very friendly to
foreign investors and would be homeowners from the US,
offering tax incentives and a dollar based economy.
